Are the worksheets really free?
Yes. Every crossword, word search, word scramble, and picture-writing worksheet on the site is free to download and print for home and classroom use. We simply ask that you do not resell them or republish them as your own.
What grades and ages do you cover?
We publish worksheets for seven levels: Pre-K, Kindergarten, and 1st through 5th grade (roughly ages 3 to 11). The same theme is available at every level, so the difficulty grows with your child.
What types of printables can I download?
Each topic includes five formats: a crossword puzzle (a picture-match activity for the youngest kids), a word search, a word scramble, a picture-writing worksheet, and an all-in-one printable pack that bundles them together.
Do I need to create an account?
No. There is no sign-up and no login. Find a worksheet, download the PDF, and print it.
Do the puzzles include answer keys?
Yes. Crosswords, word searches, and word scrambles all include an answer key, usually on the second page, so kids or grown-ups can check the work.
How do I print the worksheets?
Open the downloaded PDF and print it like any document. Pages are formatted for standard US Letter paper and look great in black and white or color. No special software is required.
Can I use these in my classroom or co-op?
Absolutely. Teachers, tutors, and homeschool families are welcome to print copies for their own students, learning centers, substitute plans, and homework.
Can I request a new topic?
Yes, please do! We add themes based on what families and teachers ask for. Send your idea through our contact page and we will add it to the list.
Is the site safe for children?

Can I use the worksheets offline?
Yes. Once you download a PDF you can print it as many times as you need for your own students or children, with or without an internet connection.
